Allison Moser comes to Curley, Hurtgen & Johnsrud LLP with substantial experience in both employment litigation and counseling.  In her litigation practice, Ms. Moser has defended employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, defamation, breach of contract, and misappropriation of trade secrets, including single plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and class action matters.  Ms. Moser has served as a trial attorney in defending a client in a wage and hour trial as well as in a retaliation case, and has served as the lead counsel in an arbitration defending an employer involved in a breach of contract dispute. 

As an advisor, Ms. Moser partners with clients to effectively manage numerous day-to-day workplace issues, including termination and discipline decisions, internal harassment and discrimination complaints, wage and hour disputes, reasonable accommodation issues, managing leaves of absence, and protection of proprietary information.  Ms. Moser regularly conducts trainings on employment law compliance, including sexual harassment training and EEOC compliance. Ms. Moser also has significant experience drafting and updating employee handbooks and policies, executive employment agreements, offer letters, severance agreements, arbitration agreements, and proprietary information agreements.

Previously, Ms. Moser worked at both international law firms, including Jones Day and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, and a local boutique firm where she obtained extensive hands-on experience counseling and defending employers ranging from early stage start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.   

Ms. Moser received her law degree from Santa Clara University Law School in 2002, and her undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 1997.   She resides in Portola Valley with her husband, son, and daughter.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, jogging, swimming, food and wine.
