Patricia A. McCausland

Patricia McCausland is a litigator with extensive experience in employment law and complex commercial litigation. Before joining Curley, Hurtgen & Johnsrud LLP in January 2020, Ms. McCausland spent a decade defending employers of all sizes in arbitration, in state and federal court, and before federal, state and local administrative agencies in a wide range of employment law matters, including against claims of breach of contract, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, FMLA violations, unfair labor practices, and wage and hour violations. Ms. McCausland also regularly counsels employers in these and other areas of employment law and has significant experience preparing and reviewing executive employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, severance agreements, and other employment-related agreements. Ms. McCausland previously also practiced complex commercial litigation at Dechert LLP and Pepper Hamilton LLP.

Ms. McCausland received her law degree magna cum laude from Villanova University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University. Ms. McCausland also holds an M.A. from Tulane University. Ms. McCausland is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. McCausland sits on the board of the Wagner Free Institute of Science of Philadelphia, is a member of the Forum of Executive Women, and a graduate of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia. She is also a long-time volunteer for the Support Center for Child Advocates.
