Mr. Yang also regularly counsels employers on a wide variety of employment matters including employee handbook and personnel policies, leave of absence issues, discipline and discharge matters, and union avoidance strategies.  He has drafted or revised a broad range of employment agreements and policies with an emphasis on protection of confidential information and trade secrets, covenants not to compete, on-boarding employees, and improper employee solicitation.  Mr. Yang also possesses extensive experience handling computer forensic issues arising in context of data misappropriation.

Mr. Yang has presented client seminars on manager training and recent employment law issues, and has been a faculty speaker for a National Business Institute seminar on “Employee Leave Rights Under State and Federal Law – What Every California Employer Needs to Know.”

Mr. Yang graduated in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.  In 1989, he received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings.  He was admitted into the State Bar of California in December, 1989.

Mr. Yang resides with his wife and two children in Cupertino, California.  Along with spending time with his family, his interests include movies, dreaming up new home improvement projects, and all things sports-related.
